Welcome to Jose Torres Tattoo. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and studio. By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Age Restrictions

In accordance with North Carolina General Statutes and health department regulations:

  • Tattoos: No one under 18 years of age may be tattooed, regardless of parental consent.
  • Piercings: Minors may receive eligible piercings with written parental or legal guardian consent and their physical presence during the procedure.
  • All clients must present valid government-issued photo identification before service.

2. Booking & Deposits

2.1 Appointment Booking

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment.
  • The deposit will be applied toward the final price of your tattoo.
  • Walk-ins are welcome subject to artist availability.

2.2 Deposit Terms

You forfeit your deposit if:

  • You do not show up for your appointment.
  • You cancel with less than 72 hours’ notice.
  • You are more than 30 minutes late.
  • You arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • You request major last-minute design changes.

2.3 Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule with 72 hours’ notice.
  • More than two reschedules may result in loss of deposit.

3. Health, Safety & Hygiene

3.1 Client Responsibility

  • All clients must complete a consent form and health questionnaire before any procedure.
  • Inform your artist of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect the procedure.

3.2 Intoxication

  • We do not perform services on individuals under the influence.
  • Arriving intoxicated will result in refusal of service and deposit forfeiture.

3.3 Hygiene Practices

  • We follow all state and local health department regulations.
  • All needles are single-use, and equipment is sterilized.
  • Clients are expected to practice basic personal hygiene for the safety of staff and others.

4. Services, Pricing & Payments

4.1 Tattoo Pricing

  • Prices are based on size, placement, design complexity, and time required.
  • A minimum charge applies to cover setup and sterilization costs.

4.2 Payment Methods

  • Payment is due immediately after the service.
  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards. No checks accepted.

5. Aftercare & Touch-Up Policy

5.2 Touch-Ups

  • One free touch-up is offered within 6 months if aftercare instructions were properly followed.
  • Hands, feet, elbows, and fingers are not guaranteed and may require an additional fee.
  • Touch-ups must be completed by the original artist, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Intellectual Property & Image Use

6.1 Custom Artwork

  • All designs remain the intellectual property of the artist and Sacred Raven Tattoo.
  • Reproduction of any artwork without written permission is prohibited.

6.2 Photos & Promotions

  • We reserve the right to photograph your tattoo for use in our portfolio, website, and social media.
  • If you do not wish your image or tattoo to be shared, notify us in writing before your appointment.

7. Studio Etiquette

7.1 Guests

  • One guest is allowed per client in the tattoo area.
  • Guests must be 18+ and must follow all studio rules.
  • Disruptive individuals will be asked to leave.

7.2 Children & Minors

  • Children under 18 are not allowed in the tattooing area.
  • Minors in the studio must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

7.3 Personal Belongings

  • Sacred Raven Tattoo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

8. Cancellations by Sacred Raven Tattoo

We may cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel and cannot reschedule, your deposit will be refunded.

9. Legal Notices

9.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

All services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific results and are not liable for reactions or complications beyond our control.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Raven Tattoo shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or personal injury resulting from services rendered.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and U.S. federal and North Carolina privacy regulations.

  • We only collect data necessary for bookings, legal compliance, and client communication.
  • You have the right to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal data.
  • Your data is not sold or shared with third parties except as required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Cumberland County, NC.

12. Updates to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
