How to Properly Care For My Tattoo

Monty Hobson • Jan 25, 2020

Here's a step by step guide for how to properly care for your tattoo.

Once you have been wrapped with Saniderm

Leave the wrap on for 3-5 days

**The bandage is breathable and allows your tattoo to receive all the oxygen it needs for proper healing.

After a few days, Upon removal of the bandage, gently wash your tattoo with an unscented antibacterial soap and apply a thin layer of ointment. I recommend unscented Lubriderm.

**If for whatever reason you get water underneath your bandage, remove it completely and gently wash any remaining adhesive from your tattoo.

WHY I USE IT?

Saniderm is an irritant resistant tattoo bandage. Being in a military town I understand that my clients train often and therefore are exposed to water, dirt and friction. All of these factors could hinder the healing process and ultimately the longevity of the tattoo.

HOW IT WORKS?

Saniderm works by locking in your body healing fluids so your tattoo stays hydrated and heals quickly and efficiently.

Bandages similar to Saniderm have been used by doctors for over 30 years, and have been known to reduce scaring and leave you with relatively no scabbing.
