TATTOO AFTERCARE
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure your tattoo heals beautifully and lasts a lifetime—follow these expert guidelines to protect your new ink.
Jose Torres Tattoo recommends and uses Saniderm for Tattoo Aftercare. Aftercare for your leg sleeve, body tattoo, back piece or neck piece are essential and Jose recommends the steps below as a guide for properly caring for your tattoo after getting inked.
1) Wrap your tattoo with Saniderm
2) Leave the tattoo wrap on for 3-5 days
**Saniderm bandages are breathable and this allows your tattoo to receive all the oxygen it needs for proper healing.
3) After a few days, remove the bandage and gently wash your tattoo with unscented soap
*Use an unscented antibacterial soap and apply a thin layer of ointment. I recommend unscented Lubriderm.
**If for whatever reason you get water underneath your bandage, remove it completely and gently wash any remaining adhesive from your tattoo.
